UK version, passenger side (off side) has more space no air con pipes/unit in the way etc

Both sides are equally bad. For me the driver side was easier, because you had naturally more room and moving the clip back into the locked position was way easier. For the passenger side I removed one 10mm screw from the fuel filter to make more room and it wasn't that bad either except I didn't manage to move the clip back to locked position because there isnt much room to play with and I got filled with anger 😆 I think one of the three metal clamps on the mounting area is twisted by the previous owner and thats why it wasn't easy to unlock and impossible to lock. So you youself be careful and patient with that. I was talking about the normal driving side car.

The video uses a UK example with right hand drive.

@@cerberusk9uk Do you know why you need to adjust the skelly to seat the container in the middle, for travelling on the road, when empty? Why can't you leave it at the back?

Yup, it’s an option but sometimes, especially recently, when roadworks have been on the A34 and surrounding roads the slip road off the M1 has been a nightmare, so as with most things in life it’s really up to you which decision to make.👍🏻🤔😁

No this particular model is quite a high spec version with Xenon lighting as standard, although other versions have Halogen lighting as standard fitment.

Once the red airline has been applied it allows for the trailer brake button to be pushed OFF or pulled ON as this is an air operated system it is supplied from the air tanks on the trailer via valves that open and close to allow pressurised air from the trucks compressor to flow to and fro as and when is needed, filling up the air tanks, building pressure then operating the park brake. Some modern trailers automatically apply the park brake once the red airline has been removed/disengaged locking the brakes on, needing the pressurised air from the tanks to release the brakes, after engaging/putting the red air line on. So ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAILER PARK BRAKE IS ON BEFORE PUTTING THE RED AIRLINE ON as this may release the trailer if it has a manual park brake system. ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!!

Also yes by removing the red airline it will apply the trailer brakes.
